1991 - Campeonato Mundial de Carros Esporte

O Campeonato Mundial de Carros Esporte realizado no ano de 1991 teve oito provas contando pontos, e a disputa foi acirradíssima entre Peugeot, Mercedes e Jaguar. Os ingleses foram os mais regulares e conseguiram conquistar o campeonato, com três vitórias. A Peugeot também saiu vitoriosa em três provas, enquanto os alemães ganharam no Japão. Vale destacar a belíssima vitória da Mazda em Le Mans, a mais importante competição do campeonato. O italiano Teo Fabi sagrou-se campeão mundial entre os pilotos.
