2014 - Campeonato Mundial de Endurance

O Campeonato de 2014 teve as batalhas entre três grandes montadoras: Audi, Toyota e Porsche. As marcas lutaram bravamente pelo título, com prevalência dos japoneses da Toyota, que ganharam 5 das 8 provas, a Audi ficou com 2 vitórias, enquanto a Porsche, voltando a disputar a categoria principal, venceu no Brasil. A maior frustração da Toyota foi não triunfar em Le Mans, principal etapa do certame, mas a epopeia japonesa continua nos anos posteriores. Entre os pilotos, Anthony Davidson e Sebastian Buemi sagraram-se campeões mundiais de automobilismo de resistência.
